Rounded rectangle button's radius on Android bug

Hi,

We noticed while testing on devices that the rounded rectangle radius set for HUD buttons is not working correctly on Android devices. It works correctly for other HUD element types, like containers and labels, but on buttons the radius is very much smaller than it should be. And this happens only on Android devices, not on iOS devices.

What's the remedy or a workaround for this?

Thanks Fraser! This was about my second thought, too, after wanting to let the Stonetrip people know about this. Also, I was hoping for an official fix.

Has anyone else run into such radius errors on Android?

I wanted to wait on this one to see if anyone would reply;

using 192 to export stks, and loading STKs into an STK loader also built with 192f's UAT, I have had 0 issues with button radial edgings on a nexus 7v1(Android4.4), and a Matsunichi-Marquis 9.7"(Android3.x).

Are you building with 2.0 perhaps ? (just curious if I missed something cool) ;)

Our project was exported with Editor v1.9.2 and UAT 1.4.0.0.
We test the game on two 7" tablets, both show the same radius errors.

Sure. This is a simple STE:

This is part of a menu with all the visible elements having a radius of 3. In the Editor all seem to have the same roundings. If I put this HUD up on Android, only the large grey container will keep its appearance, the button and label elements will have very small roundings.

I wonder if it behaves differently for other people.

I tested it, the container was set invisible..so after I set it visible, I tested in editor, looked fine, and then exported an STK.

I loaded the STK in my 192 stk loader. looked fine.

I built the stk to an APK(used api3.2) using standard settings; aka gl:1.1
installed, and all looked fine.


do you want to write some UAT build settings for me to try ?
