Hi Broozar,

The "crappy" Intel GPU is (unfortunately) standard for most Corporate Thin Clients / Desktops, so it is imperative for me to be able to get it looking semi-decent in the Web Player, as my current project is for a Corporate Environment (in fact it is for one of the top 20 companies - by market capitalisation - here in Australia).

Will the 2.0 Web Player be free (as I do not need to upgrade to 2.0 - 1.9.2 is perfect for my needs on this project)??, and when is it likely to be available?? If we are talking 2-3 months then great. If not, I'll have to look at other ways of completing this project.

Regards

Shando

With "crappy" I meant: not designed for gaming use, but rather office/video playback. When this fallback was implemented, it was the heyday of atom-based netbooks and GMA 3100, chips which barely supported DX9. Obviously this has changed in the last few years.

Does it have to be the web player? If you could run it as Standalone, you could manually override the renderer right now.

I do not have a release date on the webplayer update, will ask and come back to you.

Hey Broozar,

Thanks for that.

Unfortunately, my client requires a web version, an iPad version, and an Android Tablet version. A standalone version is not an option, as it would require users installing onto their machines, which are pretty much locked down in most Corporate environments.

Would it be any better if I exported to Flash as a workaround??

Thanks

Shando

Flash has its own set of shortcomings. But you can always try.

Shando, can you please check the box "use beta engine" in the Authoring Tool? It will link to the beta JS that loads the current beta webplayer which should work in "beauty mode" on Intel IGPs. Let me know.

Hi Broozar,

Works fine on Firefox now :D BUT the IE11 problem still remains

Is there any chance you can send me the stkobject.js file for the BETA engine, and I'll make the changes as outlined in dZastrX's posts below, and see if I can get it working??

Thanks

Shando

Thanks for that.

Should have thought of it myself, but it had been a long day
