Input only accepts letters

Hello,

HUD input fields only accept letters and numbers from the number block (not from the main keyboard) no other chars at all.

tested on gentoo and sabayon (gentoo based)

can anyone check if this is distribution related?

just noticed, that the input (including other chars) also arrives in the terminal window where the game is started from, maybe this has something to do with it.

thanx, here is a very simple example, just one edit field.

try entering something like a email address or web url

zenwalk 6.2 (slackware13 based) - i can only enter letters (with and without the shift key), no nubers from the main keyboard, but from the numpad. no :!?=() and alike.

To be honest the \"big devs\" on the Linux engine have been delayed to next month, the current update addressing only the keyboard problem :blush:

(as we also have to work on Linux 64 bits support, we grouped tasks)
