JPSprite has been updated to version 3.2.
It now has 2 versions :
- the lite version which is
free and contains the core features of JPSprite (atlas loading and static sprite display).
- the paid version that contains the powerful sprite animation engine.
A tutorial is now available on how to use JPSprite and TexturePacker:
There's also a new sample that can be tried online, . As always, the source code is available and you can see how it has been created.
It shows how to setup an atlas from TexturePacker, how to instantiate sprites, how to animate them and will learn you a good way to manage the sprites movement.
You can also see how
powerful it is. The game is fluid with thousands of animated sprites displayed at the same time.
With this kind of pack, creating a game like has never been that easy! If at least I had this pack when I did the game

Hopefully, I learned how to do things in an optimised way and you can now get this experience right into your games and create wonderful ones in no time!
